Who is this activity for?
Hyper Stimulator racing is for anyone who loves to experience "the real thing". It is for those who want more than what their Playstation or Xbox can offer. We are several levels above the Playstation/XBox/general arcade market, and we are able to provide an experience that is very close to driving the real thing - be that a Formula Ford, a V8 Supercar, or a Formula One car. Real race drivers such as Shane Van Gisbergen, Mitch Evans, Andre Heimgartner, Fabian Coulthard and many others use Hyper Stimulators to hone their race craft and that is a great testament to the quality and realism of our product. But don't worry, we make it an enjoyable experience for beginners too!
How much does it cost?
It depends on how long you would like to race for. Prices start from $40 for 30 minutes of driving through to $70 for 3 hrs of driving. For more information on the pricing, click here.
Is this just for adults? Can kids do it too?
While Hyper Stimulator racing is mainly for adults, adults can race with children from 10 years onwards. If you are under 12, we STRONGLY recommend that you bring a thick pillow to ensure you can reach the pedals.
What can I do when my kids are driving?
If you do not wish to race, we have comfortable couches or, since the event is supervised, you can go and do some shopping.
Can I bring party food for the kids?
While we do not have kitchen facilities available, you are most welcome to bring snacks to eat in between races. Pizza and coke is free for the 3 hour session if you have 10 or more drivers, otherwise it can be ordered for you for $10 per guest.
Can I bring food of my own?
Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities for this. We do however order in pizza and Coca Cola for groups of 10 or more drivers who book a $70 race session - It's complimentary. For groups under 10 drivers, this deal is available for $10 per person.
Am I too big?
The Hypers are adjustable to fit bodies as tall as 6'6".
Am I too small?
The pedals can be adjusted forward. We find that 10 years is the youngest that can fit in the cockpits. Bring a thick pillow to be sure.
Can I join a league?
Yes! You can join in two ways. Either bring your own group of mates along and setup your own league to be raced when you like, on whatever cars you like on whatever tracks you like. Or, join one of our leagues that are on pre-structured dates/cars/and tracks. Both are loads of fun and are very addictive! For more information on these leagues, or if you would like to sign up for one them, click here.
How many drivers do I need to make a booking?
There is no minimum. It does become more fun if theres more drivers as that means there are more cars on the track. We have 12 simulators available, and that lets us cater for groups up to 40 with teams event-style racing.
Can I race any car on any circuit?
Yes! You can race any pre-installed cars on any pre-installed tracks, any combination can work, just ask if you have any requests! We do usually recommend a couple of beginner circuits and race cars to ease you into the fun of simulator racing. We will recommend a track and car that will that reflects the your driving skill.
